Mission

Connect Bootstrap Austin to other organizations in town and connect organizations to each other. Each Ambassador's responsibilities include:

  • Be an active member of the other organization
  • Educate other orgs about bootstrapping (see Files section for slides)
  • Update bootstrap calendar with events
  • Negotiate special deals for bootstrappers; eg. Guy Kawasaki/Texchange
  • Create joint events; eg. Rice Alliance Bootstrap Panel
  • Pursue other innovative ideas and programs

Please see the list below with "?" beside them. If you are a part of an organization not listed here that you want to connect Bootstrap with, please contact Steve.

How to Update an Organization Page

Please follow the Ambassador Page Template when updating information on a particular Ambassador page. Here are the steps to do that:

  1. Click on the Ambassador Page Template link
  2. click on "Edit"
  3. Select and copy the entire text
  4. Go back to the Bootstrap Ambassador Page and click on the link to your organization. If you do not see your organization listed, click on "Edit" next to an appopriate section and create a link follwing the format
  5. Paste the text and add content to the appropriate sections
