Description
The Bootstrap Speaking initiative is intended for those of you who are/will be speaking publicly to promote your businesses, or want to become a professional speaker/trainer. I will be teaching interactive classes that not only provide you with the tools you need to create a captivating stage presence, but allow you to practice the techniques we learn. Lots of fun and laughs while we help each other improve our professional, public speaking images.
In addition to the foundation classes described above, we will also engage members of this group in specialty classes (like storytelling) and other projects. We share ideas and provide a support community through the yahoo group bootstrap-speaking@yahoogroups.com.

Current Class Schedule
INFO FOR ALL CLASSES
Classes meet every other Thursday from 6-8 PM
Location: The Khabele School -- 801 Rio Grande
Classes are 1BK per session (What is this?)

We just wrapped up the kick-off 6-session class, which proved to be a success. We had a lot of interest and a nice core group of bootstrappers who attended every class. The class will be offered again at a later date.

Storytelling with Steven List -- June 14, June 28, July 12
Raise your storytelling skills to the next level. Learn the skills you need to switch from narration to drawing your listeners into the story experience with you. In this series of workshops, we will explore the use of our bodies, our voices, the speaking space, and the audience in crafting and delivering stories as we never have before. We will incorporate lessons from some of the masters in the professional speaking community. Use stories to move, inform, and captivate your audience.

For anyone looking to create or improve their business pitch. We will work on both content and delivery during a 3-session class.
