- Subject: What happens when the assumptions about currency that we inherited from birth no longer apply? Rich Vázquez runs the Austin Time Exchange on open source software. Tom Brown is developing OpenID-based group membership software with other open source developers in Austin. Rich and Tom will share their experiences with applying open source software principles to online community currency systems.

The Web subgroup will
- Discuss and understand the state and future of web technology,
- explore the nature, character, and scope of web-based business opportunities,
- serve as a web technology resource for the Bootstrap Network,
- develop an understanding of current and potential web business models, and
- facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among group members.
